A.L. empowering lives through literacy, education, and excellence.
Writer, speaker, and founder of Reading Saved My Life, I show how the simple act of reading can empower, educate, and transform.
I’m A.L., a writer, debut anthology author, and public speaker. Alongside my ventures in beauty and entertainment, everything I create is rooted in a passion for transforming lives through faith-based character conversations and empowering others to strive toward their highest potential.
Through storytelling, I explore the choices and challenges that shape us, offering perspective and opportunities for reflection. My work invites readers to examine the moral and life lessons that define us and the paths we choose to take.
The Curriculum (Book)
The Curriculum is my debut anthology, a collection of morally complex stories that follow women navigating life’s pivotal rites of passage. Each story explores the choices, consequences, and lessons that shape who we become. Through these narratives, I aim to offer insight, reflection, and a deeper understanding of the human experience.
Reading Saved My Life (Nonprofit)
Alongside my writing and speaking, I’m quietly building Reading Saved My Life, a literacy initiative designed to empower lives through access to books and mentorship. While details are still in development, the mission is simple: provide the tools for others to learn, grow, and thrive.
Speaking
I speak on topics including literacy, empowerment, moral and ethical growth, and the transformative power of storytelling. My goal is to inspire and equip audiences to reflect, learn, and act, whether through workshops, keynote presentations, or collaborative discussions.
